Elk Experience in the Cataloochee Valley

Traveling by van to the stunning Cataloochee Valley, BRCLL members took an afternoon trip on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, and another trip on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, to see the elk in a natural habitat.  The trips were preceded by a one hour course on elk biology, behavior and history.
