BRCLL Committees
The Blue Ridge Center for Lifelong Learning could not present the quality classes and events without the efforts from our members who volunteer (.pdf). We are always looking for a new perspective to give us a different approach to our offerings.

Electronic Communications/Publicity
Chair: Elizabeth Wright
Develops, oversees and coordinates information related to our website and other electronic communications.
Events Committee
Chair: Mary Ann Deubert
This committee is responsible for coming up with and arranging all our day trips, overnight stays and industry tours. Meetings are held quarterly on the second Thursday at 9:30 AM in the President’s Dining Room, located in the Killian Building at the Blue Ridge Community College.
Membership Committee
Chair: Elizabeth Wright
This committee consists of people who enjoy making our newest members feel welcome. Help is always needed to mail out letters and make phone calls to new members.
Newsletter Committee
Chair: Bernie Fox
Develops the BRCLL newsletter, which is published three times a year.
Program Committee
Chair: Elizabeth Wright
Without this group, we would not have our fabulous classes, which they plan and schedule eight months in advance. Input is always welcome. This committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 AM in the President’s Dining Room, located in the Killian Building at the Blue Ridge Community College.
Social Committee
Chair: Joan Kershner
This committee has the fun task of planning, decorating and setting up our annual picnic and holiday music.
Wildacres
Chair: TBA
This group meets five times a year to analyze, plan, market and schedule our annual retreat. Members are responsible for finding talented presenters, entertainment, and booking them eight months in advance.
