We are once again offering you the opportunity to get your creative juices flowing by participating in a private workshop with renowned artist and craftswoman Christine Marriotti. Christine’s specialty is hand dyed and painted silks.  We will each create a silk scarf using the Shibori technique of dyeing. The finished scarves need ‘rest’ and will be delivered to the BRCLL office in 3 days for pick up.

Upon arrival, we will have a tour of the school by Director Cathy Fischer.  This facility houses the ‘Heritage Gallery’ which exhibits over 200 artifacts native to Western North Carolina, some dating back to 1775.  Enrollment is limited to 18 participants, so please register early!

Box Lunches will be catered by 10 North Trade Café Bakery in downtown Tryon. Please select a sandwich and one side from the following, and be sure to mark your selection on the registration form.
